Which version of Windows.



Finding a computers operating system isnt complicated. There are lots of different ways to do it. We show you 1 simple way, below.


First on your keyboard press the 'Windows' key and hold it down, then press the 'R' key, now release both keys.


A small window will open, type explorer into the box and click on the 'OK' button.


Windows file explorer will now open, looking similar to 1 of the images below. Look for 'My Computer' or 'Computer' or 'My PC'.


Right click on the 1 you find and select Properties from the dropdown list.


The Operating Systems Properties window will now open giving you all the details you need. Again 3 windows below show the different layouts you may have. Showing operating system edition and below that, the system type. (Note: If your using XP and it does NOT show a system type its a 32bit system.)



Thats it, once your are happy with your details, close any open windows.
