Computer wont power on, try an ATX Reset.

If your laptop, netbook or desktop has stopped powering on, give this a try. (Desktop computers miss out step 2.)
1) Remove the mains supply.
2) Remove the battery.
3) Hold down the on button for 30 seconds.
4) Now plug the mains back in and try powering the laptop on. If it works you're good to go. Put the battery back in and if it ever happens again, do the ATX reset again.
Note: There’s no problem with the laptop if it happens every once in a while, but if it’s happening all the time, ie you have to do this every time to switch the laptop on, then there may be a problem with the system. Have it check out.
The problem appears to be to do with the charging circuitry getting itself in a twist. The ATX reset simply releases any charge left in the capacitors and usually allows the system to start up again.
